Some of my earliest memories involve the work of Shel Silverstein. My mother would read The Giving Tree to me when I was about as young as I can recollect.
Highly acclaimed producer, writer and director Spike Jonze (Where the Wild Things Are, Being John Malkovich) undertook the task of turning the classic narrative into a love story about two robots living in a Los Angeles where humans and robots coexist.
